The JCPR Flexible Benefits Package is a multi-layered scheme of benefits
which enables us to offically reward our staff for all their hard work.
Kicking in after 6 months service it operates on a sliding scale, rising
every six months. It's quite a simple process: basically every benefit carries
a number of points so the longer you stay, the more you accrue! We have
a pick 'n mix array of benefits including Private Medical Insurance, a Personal
Pension Plan and free gym membership.
The PR industry is tough, demanding one - and although we all love what
we do, we all need a bit of a pep up from time to time. Subsidised, on-site
massages (with clothes on!) continue to go down a storm here and our regular
rota of 3pm finishes together 5pm finishes every Friday are also a welcome
bonus with each employee.
Throughout the year, we have all Agency outings. The Agency effectively
'closes' for half-day in shameless pursuit of fun. Activities range from
en masse picnics and softball, to ice-skating and cinema trips - and always
end with a bevvy or two. To keep everyone in the loop on Agency news there
is a monthly all Agency meeting with a bottle of champagne awarded to the
person who's delievered the best coverage that month.
Our vision for some time now has been that we should invest in the development
of everyone's career at JCPR through a tailored training schedule, reflecting real
needs.
The JCPR Training Programme that we have now put in place is for everyone
to take advantage of. It is the first stage of our long-term
plan to ensure that all of you are empowered to develop and
improve your skills at all levels on an on-going basis.
In developing this programme we wanted to make sure that the course
content and trainers could offer very practical, relevant
and tangible training solutions for all of you, on the back of
feedback that we have had from you. To make the training accessible we have
ensured that most of the courses are repeated and covered in bite-size chunks
so that - in most instances - none of you will have to spend
whole days out of the office.
The courses fall into three sections and four key areas:
Section 1:
Specific training modules - external and internal trainers
Split into the following four categories:
• Personal Development
• Management Training
• Finance & Commercial Awareness
• Writing skills and brainstorming
Section 2:
IT, Health & Safety - speaker sessions
Section 3:
Inductions for new employees
We really hope that you find the training insightful, helpful
and relevant
